Rabbitry is located in beautiful
- Washington
State, near Seattle. This portion
- of our co-op rabbitry is
devoted to Lionhead Rabbits.
- This project has been a lot of fun for us. We
- purchased
our first Lionheads in June of 2001
- and had our first litter in
October. We've been
- hard at work on improving the breed ever since.
- It has
been a challenging breed, but one
- we feel is well worth the effort. Most of
- our
stock can be traced back to a buck we
- imported from Sweden in early 2002, named
Tuborg.
- While Tuborg is not longer with us, he has left
- his stamp on most of the Lionheads we currently
- have in our
breeding program.

- Grand Rapids, MI, the current COD
for the Lionhead Rabbit
- passes from Arden Wetzel
to Gail Gibbons.

Gail made her
first attempt at 1st Presentation

at the 2008 ARBA Convention in
Louisville, Kentucky.
- Only the Siamese Sable
Variety Passed.
- Gail will make her 1st
attempt at 2nd Presentation with
- Siamese Sables in 2009
in San Diego, CA.
- She will also make her
2nd attempt at 1st Presentation
- with her other 4
varieties:
- Chestnut, REW, Sable
Point, & Tort (Black).

approved additional
- wording changes to
Gail's Working Standard. These will
- become official once
they are published in the February
- issue of the Domestic
Rabbits Magazine.
